Who We Are

BCMA is a boutique music agency specializing in artist management, booking, and marketing. With extensive experience in curating shows and tours, we have significantly shaped the lineups of music festivals nationwide while fostering enduring careers for our diverse roster of artists. Established in 2019 in Raleigh, NC, Black Cat Music Agency was founded by a collective of musicians and industry professionals who identified a local demand that has since evolved into a prominent national presence.

Black Cat Music Agency is committed to representing women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and other frequently marginalized artists. We are also dedicated to supporting our local community in Raleigh, NC, by contributing a portion of our proceeds to a selected nonprofit organization. Each year, our artist roster votes to determine the recipient of these donations. Currently, we are proud to partner with Girls Rock NC as our chosen nonprofit.

What’s with the cat theme?

Black Cat was named after our founder’s real life cat, Diego.

Also, we just love cats.

Disclaimer : We will still work with you if you are more of a dog person.

Paula Espinoza

From receiving her first Walkman at the age of five, to singing in a cover band with her friends back in Chile, Paula realized music was her only constant and what she needed to pursue as a career.

After developing leadership skills at her current job and completing her degree in Organizational Leadership and Communications, her current goal is to connect the public with emerging and independent artists through video interviews while searching for her place in the industry.

Apart from attending live shows, she can be found taking nature walks, going on road trips, dancing, and capturing photos with her film camera.
